El Condor began as an answer to a void that filled the Chicago Ecuadorian community. In 1996, El Condor, we opened as a Loqan Square family-owned store, looking to serve a community of Ecuadorian patrons. From there we began bringing the taste of Ecuador and Peru to all Hispanic communities as a wholesale specialty food distributor of South American goods.

Over time, El Condor has become a household name among Ecuadorian and Peruvian families and continues to provide specialty goods across the Midwest.
